You will find this tasting room in downtown Forrestville on 116. This is a great spot to meet your Zinfandelity needs. When I say this, you must know, this is a Zin house. This bitchin' spot has cork flooring, modern contemporary look, a wonderful tasting table, copper counter tops on the bar, and beautiful artwork. Bruce, the vintner and owner, took me through all his awesome Zins - 12 to be exact. What makes his wines different in this area is that he sources from all the top producers of zinfandel. Meaning, that although he does small lots, they are premium grapes. All the grapes are Sonoma county.
One thing that is nice about this place is that you can order lunchbox from Twist, down the street from the tasting room. Delicious food to go with delicious wine. There is a patio in back, that is nice in warmer weather.
Most of the wines are between $30-40. Though there are some deals around $18.
